The only required setting under the Features tab is ‘Course Price Type’. At first, before the course is complete and ready to publish, set ‘Course Price Type’ to ‘Closed’. This will hide the course until it is ready. When the course is ready for learners to enroll, set it to ‘Free’.

Videos, images, and text embedded within the lesson will be more engaging for learners, so we don’t recommend uploading Course Materials.

Course Access List will only limit who can take your course, entirely missing the point of Learninate.

The settings you might want to use are ‘Enable Course Prerequisites’ and ‘Disable Lesson Progression’. The other settings have specific proprietary functions and are best left alone.

Please especially don’t select a certificate to associate with your course.
